Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rustler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Rustler, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Rustler against the cage but Rustler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rustler tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Rustler.
As Rustler backs off Jackson throws a huge counter combo but Rustler manages to avoid it all.
Rustler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rustler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jackson has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Rustler changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jackson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rustler lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jackson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jackson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jackson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rustler throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.
Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rustler tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rustler to the ground. Rustler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Jackson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Rustler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
