Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felton Page!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sebastian Scherger!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scherger misses with a wild combination.
Scherger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Page is looking to counter with a body kick.

Scherger feints and as Page raises his hands in defense, Scherger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Scherger engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Scherger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Page, up you get!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scherger is defended easily by Page.

Scherger rushes Page and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Scherger drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Page gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Page could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Scherger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sebastian Scherger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Page shoots in looking for a takedown but Scherger manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Page's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Felton Page will probably get the nod.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Page jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Page makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Scherger really felt that one!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Felton Page.
I think Page has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
