Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Theron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charlie Theron has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Holm's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Theron!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A combination from Holm does no damage.
Holm lands with a shot to the body.
Holm moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Good shot there by Holm.
A punch combination from Holm misses.
Theron misses with a hook. Holm ducked under it nicely.
Holm tries to close the distance and clinch but Theron swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Theron swings widly with a right hand

and Holm counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Holm.
Theron has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Holm after a bit of a struggle.
Holm has had enough of the clinch but Theron keeps him there for the moment.
Holm can't break the clinch.
Theron is trying to pull guard but Holm turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Theron gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Holm scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Theron manages to mount him!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Holm takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Mark Holm has been cut.

Theron is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Holm to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Holm shrugs it off.
Theron postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Holm bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Theron and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Theron!
