Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kai Yamaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uryan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamaguchi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Yama Yama. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Yamaguchi.

Hall misses with a hook
and Yamaguchi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Hall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yamaguchi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hall scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Yamaguchi was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Hall bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fighters circling - Hall throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That was a close round but I would say that Kai Yamaguchi will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Yamaguchi moves out of range as Hall strikes.
Yamaguchi is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hall.
Hall cracks a nice hook into Yamaguchi's ribs.

and Yamaguchi counters with an outside leg kick.
Hall moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A slow jab from Hall misses its intended target.

Hall takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Hall might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Hall was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Hall shoots in looking for a takedown but Yamaguchi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Yamaguchi counters with a huge left! Hall is in big trouble! He's backing up but Yamaguchi isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hall from any more damage. A dominating finish by Yamaguchi!

Kai Yamaguchi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Uryan Hall had this to say: 'As you can see...I can't. I got beat out there tonight, enough said.'.
