Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simbo Klice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Starker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klice comes to the cage accompanied by THE D.O.C. - it's funky enough. Starker has chosen Under Milk Wood as his entrance music. Simbo Klice has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klice misses with a looping right.
Starker wants to counter the offense by Klice and move into the clinch position.
Nice straight punches there by Starker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Starker.

It looks like Simbo Klice has been cut.
Klice scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Klice is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Starker.
Klice swats away the attempt to clinch by Starker.
Klice seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Starker tries to clinch there but Klice circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Starker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Starker steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Klice.

Klice looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Starker has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Klice is on him like a limpet, forcing Starker back against the cage.

Starker lands a damaging elbow.
A frustrated look appears on Klice's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Klice is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Starker is pressed up against the cage. Klice has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Starker down to the mat. Starker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simbo Klice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Starker drops Klice with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Klice looks back up at him and smiles so Starker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

A looping hook to the body misses from Klice. Starker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Klice sets himself, and Starker steps forward looking for the clinch! Klice avoids it this time.

Starker fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Klice to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Klice looks to clinch but Starker throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Klice taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
