Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Montreal, Sergey Nevzlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of New York, Lukee Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nevzlin to score with a decent uppercut.
Nevzlin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tyson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nevzlin defends it well.
Tyson slips under a jab.
Tyson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
The crowd cheers as Nevzlin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tyson doesn't seem phased though.
Some wild striking there from Nevzlin.
Sergey Nevzlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nevzlin closes the distance and clinches.
Nevzlin presses Tyson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyson jumps guard but Nevzlin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Tyson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tyson tries to pull guard but Nevzlin won't allow it.
Sergey Nevzlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukee Tyson.

Nevzlin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nevzlin scores with a nice head shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nevzlin moves into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tyson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Tyson fails to pull guard.
Nevzlin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tyson backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Nevzlin.
Nevzlin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tyson or not.
Tyson looks winded!

Nevzlin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tyson slips a jab and a cross from Nevzlin.
And Tyson tries to counter it with a takedown but Nevzlin pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nevzlin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tyson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nevzlin pinned against the cage. Nevzlin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nevzlin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nevzlin throws a body kick that misses.
Tyson is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Nevzlin digs a good body shot into Tyson's ribs.
Nevzlin scores with a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nevzlin lands a left and a right that send Tyson crashing to the mat, dazed. Nevzlin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tyson is rocked!

It looks like Lukee Tyson has been cut.
We've been told by Nevzlin's head coaches at North Star secret fist technique that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Nevzlin drops Tyson with a beautiful combination! Tyson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nevzlin is looking for the KO!
Tyson is still on wobbly legs! Can Nevzlin finish him?
Nevzlin lands with a good body shot.
Nevzlin lands a big right hook! Tyson looks hurt but is still standing! Nevzlin lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Tyson falls down and Nevzlin dives in with a huge hammer fist! Tyson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Nevzlin runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sergey Nevzlin!
Sergey Nevzlin really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bullet Proof System logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
