Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Doo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Doo !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson misses with an uppercut. Doo saw that one coming.
Doo lands a head kick!
Robertson misses with a series of wild punches.
Doo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doo wants it to stay on the feet.

Doo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Robertson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Our sources have told us that Doo has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Robertson is trying to pull guard but Doo has him pressed against the cage.
John Doo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Robertson.
Doo can't find room to land a body shot as Robertson controls the action.
Doo landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Robertson takes an elbow to the forehead.

Robertson is trying to force a seperation but Doo has the dominant position.
Doo throws a knee to the head but misses.
Robertson takes an elbow to the forehead.

Robertson prevents a body shot from Doo .
Doo lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Robertson decides to pull guard.
Robertson wants to get back to his feet but Doo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Robertson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Doo escapes and throws Robertson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Doo works to advance to full mount. Robertson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Robertson wants to control but Doo is having none of it.
Doo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Doo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Robertson is looking to get to half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robertson is controlling Doo 's trapped leg to prevent Doo from advancing to side control.
Doo is thwarting Robertson's attempts to control the position.

Robertson is looking for a sweep. Doo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Robertson looking for submissions off his back.
Doo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Doo throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Robertson to regain full guard.
Robertson has Doo pulled in close to control his posture.
Robertson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Doo manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Robertson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Robertson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Robertson misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Doo misses the target.

Doo rushes Robertson and presses him up against the cage.
Doo misses with a knee strike.
Nice elbow from Doo .
Doo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Robertson is trying to break the clinch but Doo is controlling him.
Doo lands with a light punch inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Doo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Robertson blocks a head kick by Doo .
Doo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


Robertson is rocked!

Robertson tries to keep at a distance but Doo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Robertson is still on wobbly legs! Can Doo finish him?
A nice right hand lands inside from Doo .
Doo pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Robertson! Doo unloads with more strikes and Robertson sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Doo !
