The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykin avoids the body shot from Norton.
Norton looks to score with a jab to the body but Boykin is just out of range.
Boykin lands a really nice looking cross but Norton seems unphased.
Boykin misses with a looping left.

Norton ducks right into an uppercut from Boykin.

Norton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Boykin is trying to break the clinch but Norton has him pressed against the cage.
Boykin tries to pull guard but Norton holds him up against the cage and eventually Boykin drops back down to his feet.

It looked like Norton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Norton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Boykin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Norton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boykin goes for a double leg but Norton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norton continues to drive forward.

Norton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boykin, pushing him back against the cage.
Boykin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Norton walks away with a smile on his face. Boykin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Norton is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Boykin like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Boykin from another fist facial!
