Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Glenclose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Glenclose might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to White and Nerdy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ness circles away from the clinch attempt.
Glenclose has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ness finds it's way round the side to connect with Glenclose's head.
Ness jabs Glenclose to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Glenclose takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ness with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ness is looking to clinch but Glenclose is avoiding it.
Glenclose shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ness pinned against the cage. Ness gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ness lands a really nice looking cross but Glenclose seems unphased.

Ness lands with a nice body punch.
Glenclose throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Ness on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Glenclose takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Glenclose walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've been told by Glenclose's head coaches at El Tico 's Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
No luck for Glenclose with that takedown attempt.

Glenclose moves into range and clinches up with Ness.

Ness has a couple of punches blocked by Glenclose.
Glenclose is looking to take this one to the mat.

Ness misses with the head strike.
Ness swings wildly with an uppercut but Glenclose uses good head movement to avoid it.
Glenclose blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Ness fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Glenclose changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ness fights it off and pushes away nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ness scores with a sloppy right hand. Glenclose should have avoided that one.

It looked like Glenclose wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ness tries to close the distance and clinch but Glenclose swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ness wants to clinch up but Glenclose keeps it at a distance.
Glenclose doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ness throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Glenclose stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Johnny Ness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glenclose takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ness moves in looking to clinch but Glenclose pushes him off.
Glenclose throws a head kick that misses.
Ness tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Glenclose manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Glenclose has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ness is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Glenclose tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ness smiles and moves away.

Glenclose is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glenclose on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Glenclose takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ness lands with a straight right. Glenclose didn't see that one coming.

Glenclose looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ness lands a right hand from hell, dropping Glenclose. Ness pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
