The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bentley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bentley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sokolsky enables Bentley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sokolsky manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
