The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Sauve manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Sauve was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Williams.
Sauve throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sauve sprawls well. Sauve wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.

and Sauve counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
