Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Ewoud Roelof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Valanciunas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ewoud Roelof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonas Valanciunas!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valanciunas misses with a jab to the body
and Roelof counters with a nice uppercut.
Valanciunas drops his hands momentarily and Roelof takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Roelof really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Valanciunas tries to land a leg kick but Roelof saw it coming and moves away.
Valanciunas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roelofs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Ewoud Roelof has been cut.
Both fighters circling a little - Roelof finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
We've been informed that Valanciunas has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Roelof takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Valanciunas looks to land a left hand but Roelof moved out of range nicely.
Valanciunas swings widly with a right hand
and Roelof counters with a nice body kick.
Roelof misses with a body kick.
Valanciunas throws out a counter right but Roelof avoids it with no problem.
Roelof bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Valanciunas's head backwards.
Roelof with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Valanciunas to score with a decent uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roelof thows a left - swing and a miss!
Valanciunas throws an overhand right that lands on Roelof's shoulder, as Roelof tries to avoid the shot.
Roelof appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Roelof throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Valanciunas throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Roelof counters with a big head kick out of nowhere, perfectly timed, sending Valanciunas crashing to the mat! Valanciunas is trying to stumble back to his feet... will he beat the count? We're at 5,6,7,8,9,10! He's out! Roelof takes this one thanks to a picture pefect counter strike.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Ewoud Roelof!
