Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sir Comstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sir Comstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 27 - 2, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Poulter finds it's way through Comstock's defenses.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Poulter falls off balance throwing a combination

and Comstock counters with a takedown into side control.

Comstock decides to stand up, so the ref orders Poulter to his feet.
Poulter moves to clinch but Comstock breaks away

and Comstock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Poulter won't be happy with that.
Poulter is looking to get back to his feet here but Comstock is keeping cool and he's managed to take Poulter's back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Comstock has Poulter's back but decides to stand back up... Obviously he fancies his chances in the standup department!

and Comstock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Poulter won't be happy with that.

I've got Poulter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
