Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lotza Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fury comes into the arena with Roll On Up blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury scores with a crisp jab that stopped Black in his tracks.

It looks like Rod Black has been cut.
Black takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That kick from Fury tenderised Black's leg. Black is trying to keep his angry face on.
Black thows a left - swing and a miss!
As Black backs away, Fury returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
No joy there for Fury, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Black throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fury lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fury.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fury darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Black slaps away a takedown attempt from Fury, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Good exchange - Fury coming out on top.

Black tries to land a leg kick but Fury saw it coming and moves away.

Fury fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Black sprawls well initially but Fury persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Black wants to stand back up but Fury manages to pass into side control.
Black on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

That has opened up Rod Black's cut even more.
Fury lands an elbow.

The cut above Rod Black's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
Fury is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Black is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Black managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Fury.
Black is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Black is trying to escape the position but Fury is controlling the position.
Fury looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Black is avoiding damage well.
Black avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fury.
Black regains half guard there - taking advantage of Fury's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Rod Black's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rod Black's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A determined Lotza Fury didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
