The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carwin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pilegr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carwin.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pilegr is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Carwin fails to land a wild elbow strike.

It looks like Roos Pilegr has been cut.
Pilegr is in a horrible position here. Carwin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Carwin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Carwin postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Pilegr badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Carwin around the waist but Carwin pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Carwin is the winner by TKO! Carwin jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
