The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolittle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Doolittle thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diotte if he has to take too many more of those.
Diotte misses with a kick to the body
and Doolittle counters with a nice uppercut.
Diotte drops his hands momentarily and Doolittle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Diotte counters with a two punch combo.
Doolittle has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Diotte.
Doolittle lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Doolittle throws a right hand that Diotte ducks under and follows up with a left that Diotte also avoids with ease.
Diotte has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Diotte keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Diotte takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Doolittle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Doolittle quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Diotte throws a low kick but it's checked well by Doolittle.

It looks like Doctor Doolittle has been cut.
Doolittle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diotte's hands.

and Doolittle counters with a low kick, right behind Diotte 's knee.
Doolittle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diotte. That did some damage!
Doolittle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Doolittle needs to keep his hands up - Diotte had a free shot at his head there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Diotte.

and Doolittle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Doolittle moves out of range as Diotte strikes.
Diotte avoids the body shot from Doolittle.
Diotte throws a left and a right that both miss
and Doolittle counters with a leg kick.
Diotte will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Diotte throws a series of punches but Doolittle avoids them all with ease.

A punch lands to the side of Diotte 's head but he takes it in his stride.
