Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Jebut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaak Normaal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Normaal closes the distance and clinches.
Normaal prevents a takedown attempt there.

Normaal feints and then cracks Jebut's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jebut down.

Normaal fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jebut, pushing him back against the cage.
Normaal is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jebut is defending well for now.

Normaal creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jebut sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jebut parries the strikes from Normaal easily there. Normaal is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jebut to escape.

Normaal goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jebut rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Normaal's guard! Nice work there by Jebut!
Normaal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jebut wants to control but Normaal is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Normaal is nestled in close to Jebut, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
