Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zus Bielski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinicius Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinicius Costa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinicius Costa!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa tries to land a front kick but Bielski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bielski throws a quick counter kick to the body but Costa avoids it.
Bielski misses with a looping right.
A swing and a miss from Bielski.
Costa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bielski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Costa. Costa obviously looking to wear him down.
Costa feints and then cracks Bielski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bielski down.
Costa scores with a kick to the midsection.
Bielski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bielski misses with a straight right.
Costa lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bielski takes a step back to recover.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bielski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Costa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

The fighters circling - Bielski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bielski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Costa.
Bielski throws a right hand that Costa ducks under and follows up with a left that Costa also avoids with ease.
Costa flicks out a counter leg kick but Bielski steps away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Costa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Costa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bielski pushes Costa off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A nice inside leg kick there by Costa. That's going to slow Bielski down.
Bielski moves out of range as Costa throws a body kick.

Bielski has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bielski swings wildly with an uppercut but Costa uses good head movement to avoid it.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bielski.
Bielski scores with a shot to the side of Costa's head.
Bielski definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bielski tries a knee to the head but Costa blocks it.
Bielski misses with a punch to the body.

Costa has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Bielski seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Costa can turn it around.
Costa is trying to stall.
Bielski lands a shoulder strike.
Costa has a couple of punches blocked by Bielski.
Costa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Costa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Costa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bielski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bielski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Costa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bielski has managed to get both his arms back between Costa's legs - danger averted.
Bielski wants to control from the top but Costa keeps moving.

Costa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bielski is stalling in the full guard.

Costa is looking for a triangle but Bielski pushes his legs off easily.
Bielski wanted to stand there but Costa had control of the position.
Bielski lands a couple of digs.

Costa has his feet on Bielski's thighs here. He's pushed Bielski off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bielski screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Vinicius Costa is the new lightweight champion!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Vinicius Costa made sure he mentioned Urban Fighter, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
The defeated Zus Bielski had this to say: 'Bullshit match up .. Just saying!'.
