Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bring Ithome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLeod shoots in looking for a takedown. Ithome tries to sprawl out of it but MacLeod keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ithome manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
MacLeod takes a swing at Ithome's ribcage but misses.

MacLeod scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ithome is looking to work his way out of this bad position but MacLeod is controlling him well.
Ithome felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

MacLeod working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

MacLeod is pushing down on Ithome's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ithome is fighting to maintain full guard but MacLeod has managed to sneak the leg through.

MacLeod is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ithome defends it well.

Ithome pushes MacLeod off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

MacLeod shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ithome manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

MacLeod drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ithome looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ithome looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ithome!

Ithome decides to stand back up.

MacLeod shoots for a takedown but Ithome saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ithome swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Ithome has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes MacLeod off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ithome ducks under a wild hook from MacLeod.

Ithome cracks MacLeod with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ithome will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ithome drops MacLeod with a beautiful combination! MacLeod stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ithome is looking for the KO!

MacLeod shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ithome is trying to defend but MacLeod finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ithome rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but MacLeod moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

MacLeod is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ithome to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ithome shrugs it off.

MacLeod has hold of Ithome's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ithome manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ithome tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
MacLeod seems to have got his legs back now.
Ithome throws a right hand that MacLeod ducks under and follows up with a left that MacLeod also avoids with ease.

A punch lands to the side of Ithome 's head but he takes it in his stride.
MacLeod takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bring Ithome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Connor MacLeod's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
MacLeod lands with a right hand.
Ithome throws a right and a left that MacLeod avoids nicely.
Ithome gets in close and tags MacLeod with a short punch that almost sends MacLeod to the mat! Oh MacLeod is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ithome, trying to create some distance but Ithome rushes him, striking wildly and MacLeod goes down! The referee tackles Ithome into the cage to end the fight! Ithome is one violent man!
