Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onni Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Onni Seppala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus White!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Seppala forces White back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Seppala creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

White drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
White is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Seppala is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Seppala lands a body punch.
White looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Seppala lands with a left to the head.

Seppala lands a right hand that snaps the head of White backwards.

Seppala has hold of one of White's legs. White is fighting the takedown attempt but Seppala gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

White is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Seppala is controlling him.
White wants to sweep here but Seppala controlling him for the moment.

White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seppala can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Seppala counters with a left to the body.
White looks winded!

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Seppala looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Seppala on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Seppala tries to get out of the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Seppala is looking for a sweep.
White in side control, throwing shots but Seppala defends.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.

You can see the frustration on Seppala's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seppala is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
White is looking to take a break and control but Seppala is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

White is trying to get an arm triangle but Seppala is defending well.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White is putting a hurting on Seppala here, landing some big shots from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Seppala clinches.
White is trying to maintain a safe position but Seppala gets an underhook and turns White into the cage.
White tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
White wants a takedown but no success here.
White can't break the clinch.
White wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Seppala has him pressed against the cage.
Nice body punch from Seppala - that landed with a thud.
White can't get the takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seppala presses White against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

White is breathing heavily.
White can't get the takedown.
Onni Seppala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus White.
Seppala pushes White back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Seppala throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Seppala has dropped down and is working for a takedown. White is trying to keep an underhook but Seppala manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Seppala has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Still in half guard, Seppala seems content to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Seppala lands with a nice body punch.
Seppala lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
White misses with a takedown
and Seppala counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Seppala uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.
Seppala works White's body with a nice hook.

Seppala closes the distance and clinches.
White's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Seppala manages to break the clinch.
White's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Seppala connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! White scrambles back to his feet.

Seppala darts in and clinches White up against the cage.
Seppala scores with a hook to the body.
White misses with a knee to the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Seppala lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Seppala pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White walks into a straight right hand from Seppala.
White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seppala tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seppala to the ground. Seppala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
White finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Seppala's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and White falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Onni Seppala!
