Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neil Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Seinfeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray comes to the cage accompanied by Brain Damage / Eclipse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Murray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerome Seinfeld!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Seinfeld.

Seinfeld has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Murray is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Our spies down at at ~T~ Troid - Gym inform us that Seinfeld has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Seinfeld looking for a guillotine here but Murray defends easily.

We've been told by Murray's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Murray ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Seinfeld moves away.

and Seinfeld counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Seinfeld fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murray on the side of the head.
Murray clobbers Seinfeld with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Murray counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Jerome Seinfeld has been cut.
Murray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Seinfeld was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Seinfeld throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Murray looks to land a combination but Seinfeld avoids it well.
Murray has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Seinfeld finds it's way round the side to connect with Murray's head.
Murray misses with a straight left.
Seinfeld tests Murray's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Neil Murray will probably get the nod.

Murray smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murray closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Murray lands in his opponent's guard.

Seinfeld thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Murray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seinfeld keeps working.

Murray takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Seinfeld slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jerome Seinfeld.
I think Seinfeld has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
