The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Aquila Corvus checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Toboggan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Toboggan connects with a body shot.
Aquila Corvus pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Toboggan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Aquila Corvus lands a right hook to the body.
Aquila Corvus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Aquila Corvus throws a lazy body kick
and Toboggan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Aquila Corvus takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Aquila Corvus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Toboggan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Toboggan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Toboggan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aquila Corvus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Toboggan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Aquila Corvus had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Aquila Corvus swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Toboggan counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Aquila Corvus. That snapped Toboggan's head back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Toboggan throws a lazy right hand but Aquila Corvus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Aquila Corvus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aquila Corvus throws a hook to the side of Toboggan's head but Toboggan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Toboggan walks into a left hand.

Toboggan is rocked!

Aquila Corvus pounces like a tiger and cracks Toboggan with a vicious hook! Toboggan is down but not out! Aquila Corvus follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
