Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Chartier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shouma Nishida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chartier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed - Stricken. Donald Chartier could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shouma Nishida's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nishida swings for the body but Chartier moves out of range.
Chartier swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A left lands for Chartier.
Nishida throws a combination that misses
and Chartier counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Shouma Nishida has been cut.
Chartier connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Chartier works Nishida's body with a nice hook.
Nishida catches Chartier with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Chartier misses with an uppercut.
Chartier has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Roosters Coop in the buildup to the fight.
Nishida tries a head kick but it misses.
Chartier half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nishida looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nishida throws a body shot but no joy.
Nishida throws a series of punches but Chartier avoids them all with ease.
Chartier lands the left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nishida gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Chartier gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donald Chartier!
