Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tad Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Schuman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Schuman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tad Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Schuman!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schuman manages to avoid it.

Kim gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Schuman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kim.

Schuman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Schuman gets caught flat footed, as Kim shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Schuman is working an open guard so Kim takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Schuman enables Kim to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Schuman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

As Kim backs off Schuman throws a huge counter combo but Kim manages to avoid it all.

Schuman shoots for a double leg takedown but Kim sprawls well. He's pushed Schuman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schuman is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tad Kim will probably get the nod.
