The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto fails with the takedown

and Odds counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Odds.
Yamamoto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Odds walks away with a smile on his face. Yamamoto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Odds scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Odds rushes Yamamoto and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Yamamoto is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Odds to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hayato Yamamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yamamoto wants to take the fight to the mat but Odds manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

It looks like Hayato Yamamoto has been cut.
Yamamoto is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Yamamoto takes an elbow to the temple.
Odds pushes Yamamoto back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Still in the clinch, Odds scores with a nice short uppercut.
Oh Yamamoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yamamoto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Odds avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Odds stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Odds lands an elbow just above Yamamoto 's eye.
Odds lands an elbow inside that Yamamoto shrugs off.
Odds creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Yamamoto's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Yamamoto drops to his knees and Odds pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
