Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Orr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Octavio Orr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Octavio Orr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orr shoots in but Palmer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Palmer is looking to take a break and control but Orr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Palmer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Orr keeps working.

Palmer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Orr to his feet.
Palmer throws a sloppy head kick and Orr moves out of range easily.

Orr gets caught flat footed, as Palmer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Palmer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jason Palmer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Orr tries to counter by clinching up but Palmer breaks away and moves out of range.

Palmer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Orr's guard.

Orr gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Palmer to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Palmer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Palmer looking to sit in guard and control but Orr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Orr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

I think Palmer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
