The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ware moves into range and clinches up with Ryan.
Ryan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ryan working aggressively here.
Ware tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ware goes for a takedown attempt but Ryan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A jab lands there for Ryan.
Ware takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ryan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Ware counters by clinching up.
Ryan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Ware tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ware misses with a punch on the inside.
Ryan presses Ware against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan lands a nice uppercut.
Ryan wants to break free but Ware has control.
Ryan misses with the head strike.
Ware looking for a takedown.
Ryan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ware backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ware misses with a punch on the inside.
Ryan misses with a hook from the clinch.

Ware blocks an uppercut.
Ryan working aggressively here.
Ware blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ryan.
Ryan is looking to break free of the clinch but Ware has double underhooks.
Ware keeps control of Ryan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ryan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ware backwards.
Ware has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ryan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jimmy Ryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ware.

Ryan breaks the clinch.
Ware takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ryan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ware's head backwards.

Ware is rocked!
Ware tries to get into range but Ryan steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Ware! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Ryan scores the big KO victory!
