The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gattis throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Pugin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pugin lands a jab to the nose.
Gattis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pugin circles away.
Gattis misses with a takedown
and Pugin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pugin lands a jab to Gattis's midsection.
Gattis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gattis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gattis misses with a lunging right hand
and Pugin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gattis thinking.
Gattis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pugin was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Gattis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pugin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gattis's sensitive parts.

Pugin scores with a one two! Gattis had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Pugin counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Gattis badly! He tries to strike back but Pugin puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Gattis out cold! Oh man, Gattis will never hear the end of this one!
