The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dirty swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dirty's head.
Dirty with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dirty shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dirty looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dirty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dirty throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brown escapes and throws Dirty's legs to the side, diving into side control!

BOOM! Brown connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Brown postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dirty badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brown around the waist but Brown pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brown is the winner by TKO! Brown jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A relieved looking Daniel Brown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Dickie Dirty was interviewed post fight and said 'Losing always sucks, but against you it is no shame. Thank you for the honor of stepping in the cage with you Conne and go kick some more ass you damn awesome legend!'.
