The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw throws a lazy head kick

and Smiff counters with a shoot takedown. Shaw fights it but they end up in guard.
Shaw is wriggling around but Smiff manages to pass to half guard.

Smiff passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Shaw!
Smiff lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Shaw is in a horrible position here. Smiff smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Smiff cracks Shaw with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
