And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Leif Ham Selv!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David swinging wildly here.
Ham Selv is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Ham Selv tries to score a power double leg takedown but David sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ham Selv somewhat.
Ham Selv fails to land the takedown.

Ham Selv drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

David is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ham Selv presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

David goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Ham Selv is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

David closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ham Selv might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control David haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

David stands up and waves to Ham Selv to follow him.

Ham Selv is trying to work for a single leg takedown but David pulls him back up using the underhooks.

David shoots in and bounces Ham Selv off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

It looked like David was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

David gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ham Selv.

It looks like Thor Leif Ham Selv has been cut.
Ham Selv tried to land a shot to the body but connects with David's elbow.

David pulls guard successfully.

Ham Selv controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
David wants to sweep but no luck.
Ham Selv lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Ian David overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ham Selv got a little sloppy there for a moment and David has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ham Selv has managed to get both his arms back between David's legs - danger averted.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
David is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ham Selv can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ian David will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

David slaps away a takedown attempt from Ham Selv, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ham Selv shoots for a double leg takedown but David sprawls well. He's pushed Ham Selv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
David slips a jab and a cross from Ham Selv.
Ham Selv takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
