Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eli Armis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaudencio Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armis comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman misses with a hook. Armis ducked under it nicely.
Roman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Armis moves away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nice straight punches there by Roman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Roman.
Roman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Roman.

Armis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Roman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Armis manages to pass to side control.

Armis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roman is just riding it out for now. Armis eventually gives up the hold.
Roman is trying to control but can't.

Roman wants to get back to full guard.
Armis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Roman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roman.
Armis slips nicely into half guard.
Roman trying to control from the bottom.
Armis works his way into side control.
Roman tries to buck Armis off but Armis is having none of it.
Roman is trying to work for a sweep but Armis has mounted him!
Roman is squirming around, avoiding Armis's attempts to control the action.

Roman looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Armis is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Roman won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Armis off his unconscious opponent!
