Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanna tries to avoid it but Morris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanna to the ground. Sanna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sanna misses with an uppercut.
Morris avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Morris shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanna sprawls well. He's pushed Morris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sanna unleashes a big counter combination but Morris bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sanna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanna paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sanna fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morris throws a big counter combination but Sanna scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Morris walks into a straight right hand from Sanna.
Sanna slaps away a takedown attempt from Morris, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanna lands a two punch combo.
Sanna throws a right and a left that Morris avoids nicely.
Morris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanna.

Sanna defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morris.

Sanna rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Morris doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanna circles away.
Morris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Morris is rocked!
Sanna connects with a combination that backs up Morris into the cage. Sanna lands a flurry of punches that gets past Morris's guard. Morris is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Sanna bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Sanna!
Our winner, Michael Sanna, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
