Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blake Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snake Plisskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blake Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Snake Plisskin!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plisskin swings for the body but Green moves out of range.
Green dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Green darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Green bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Green misses with an uppercut.
Good standup being displayed there by Plisskin as he connects with a hook.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Green wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plisskin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Green looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circling - Green throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Green ducks right into an uppercut from Plisskin.

Plisskin throws a shot from downtown. Green moves away and avoids it.
Blake Green is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Green uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Plisskin has time to react.
The crowd cheers as Green lands an impressive looking overhand right. Plisskin doesn't seem phased though.
Plisskin lands a jab to the head.

Green closes the distance and pushes Plisskin back into the cage.
Green misses with a hook from the clinch.
Plisskin tries to break the clinch but Green is controlling the position.
Green misses with a body punch.
Plisskin lands a body shot.
Plisskin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Green tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A head punch on the inside from Plisskin fails to land.

Plisskin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A shot to the liver by Plisskin. Beautiful body shot.
Green takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Plisskin misses with a takedown attempt - Green sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Plisskin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Green throws a lazy right hand but Plisskin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Green keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Plisskin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Green is not content to let Plisskin control the position.
You can see the frustration on Green's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

An elbow from Plisskin crashes against the mat.
Green is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Plisskin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Green is trying to stand.

Plisskin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Plisskin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Green keeps working.
Green avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Plisskin.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Plisskin tries to pass to full mount but Green defends it.
Plisskin slows the pace down in half guard.

Plisskin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Green sees it coming and defends easily.
Green regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Plisskin.
Plisskin wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Snake Plisskin will probably get the nod.
That's time! Green's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Plisskin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Green thinking.
Plisskin throws a lazy uppercut
and Green makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Plisskin really felt that one!
Green throws a leg kick that misses.
Green lands with an overhand left.
Plisskin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Green is fending him off so far but Plisskin persists. Nope, Green circles away and we're back to standing.
Green appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Green throws out a loose jab but Plisskin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Green gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Green takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Plisskin stuns Green with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Plisskin misses with a left hand
and Green counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Green staying out of range there.
Plisskin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Green sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Green swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Green tries a head kick but it misses.
Snake Plisskin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green thuds his shin into the meat of Plisskin's side.
Plisskin scores with a jab. Green acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Plisskin misses the body punch
and Green counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Plisskin misses with a takedown
and Green counters with a series of strikes. Plisskin will be more careful next time no doubt.

Plisskin just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Green wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Plisskin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Plisskin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Plisskin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Green lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Plisskin throws out a counter right but Green avoids it with no problem.
Green connects with the punch.
Plisskin throws a lazy right hand but Green sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Green was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Blake Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snake Plisskin.

A nice side step and Plisskin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Blake Green dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


A head kick from Green lands but Plisskin takes it in his stride.
Plisskin slips a jab from Green.
Plisskin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Plisskin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Greens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Green takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Green avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Green swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Plisskin looks to score with a jab to the body but Green is just out of range.
A jab lands there for Plisskin.
Green throws a sloppy head kick and Plisskin moves out of range easily.

Plisskin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Green did well to prevent Plisskin getting side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well, if Plisskin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Plisskin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Green is looking to escape.
Plisskin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Plisskin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Green knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Plisskin throws a lazy right hand but Green sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Plisskin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Green on the side of the head.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Plisskin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Green.
Green moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Green takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Green throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Green bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Green moves out of range as Plisskin strikes.
Green throws a counter high kick but Plisskin was just alert enough to avoid it.
Plisskin misses with a two punch combination.
As Plisskin backs away, Green returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Green.
A looping hook to the body misses from Plisskin. Green does a little dance to reset his feet.
Plisskin throws the left hand but Green avoids the punch easily.
Green digs a good hook to Plisskin's body.
Plisskin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Green throws a counter high kick but Plisskin was just alert enough to avoid it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Snake Plisskin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Plisskin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
