Johnson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eazy e- real mother fuckin gs. Overeem is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Switchblade Smiles. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem cracks Johnson with an open hand slap.

It looks like DeShawn Johnson has been cut.
Overeem on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Overeem throws a body kick that misses
and Overeem takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A chopping leg kick lands by Overeem.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Overeem has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Johnson lands a nice shot that snaps Overeem's head back.
Johnson throws a body punch but Overeem moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Overeem. That's going to slow Johnson down.
Overeem doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Overeem needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.

Overeem is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Overeem tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it.
Overeem swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Overeem is able to avoid easily.

Johnson throws a body shot but no joy.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Overeem is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Overeem gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Johnson counters with a huge left! Overeem is in big trouble! He's backing up but Johnson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Overeem from any more damage. A dominating finish by Johnson!
