Gu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Put It On-Big L kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins looks to throw the jab but Gu is out of range.
Gu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Gu darts in looking for a takedown but Collins gets double underhooks and turns Gu into the cage.
Gu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Collins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gu somewhat.
Collins stuffs the takedown.
Vince Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chi Gu.
Collins shoots in for a double leg but Gu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gu is sitting in close to Collins's body. Collins has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Collins.
