Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Isaijah Louiseau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Louiseau misses.

Louiseau drives through and clinches with Reyes against the cage.
Reyes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Reyes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Louiseau is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Louiseau effectively controlling the action here.
Louiseau misses with a punch to the body.
Louiseau is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Reyes jumps guard but Louiseau turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Isaijah Louiseau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Reyes.
Reyes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Louiseau gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Reyes wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reyes goes for a takedown attempt but Louiseau pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Reyes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Louiseau manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Reyes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reyes feints the counter takedown.
Louiseau throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Reyes was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Reyes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Louiseau tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Reyes is in Louiseau's guard.
Reyes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Louiseau wriggles free and stands up.

Louiseau drops Reyes with a left right combo! Louiseau follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Hugo Reyes has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Louiseau decides to stand back up.
Isaijah Louiseau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Louiseau tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reyes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Reyes tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Louiseau shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reyes blocks a head kick by Louiseau.
Reyes swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyes looking for a sweep. Not yet Reyes, not yet.
Reyes trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reyes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Louiseau gets to his feet. Reyes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Louiseau moves into the clinch successfully.
Reyes is looking for a takedown.
Louiseau looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Reyes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Louiseau pulls his leg out and moves away.

Louiseau catches Reyes with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Reyes forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
