The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irene throws out a leg kick but Poloskov moves out of range and Irene only half commits.
Poloskov misses with a takedown attempt

and Irene moves into the clinch.

Poloskov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Irene lands a left hand that snaps the head of Poloskov backwards.
Still in the clinch, Irene scores with a nice short uppercut.
Poloskov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Irene landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Poloskov looks winded!

Irene drops Poloskov onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Poloskov is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Irene unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Poloskov! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Irene is unloading with more strikes now! Poloskov drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

A very excited looking Goodnight Irene rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
