The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magufuli clinches up against the ropes.

It looks like Stanley Khan has been cut.
Khan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Magufuli walks away with a smile on his face. Khan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Magufuli is leaning against Khan and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Magufuli lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Magufuli lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khan backwards.
Magufuli works on Khan's body with a couple of short punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Khan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Magufuli throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Magufuli lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Magufuli creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Khan's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Khan drops to his knees and Magufuli pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
