The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Mitchel.
Montoya chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mitchel can pounce on him.
Mitchel misses with a double jab.
Montoya moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Leif Montoya has been cut.
Montoya avoids a punch combination nicely.
Montoya throws a quick counter head kick but Mitchel was just out of range.
Mitchel closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Montoya! Mitchel dives in looking to finish! Montoya is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
