Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tad Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Bradburry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tad Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jhon Bradburry!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Watson and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim misses with a hook to the body

and Bradburry counters by moving into the clinch.
Bradburry is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kim could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kim is trying to break the clinch but Bradburry has him pressed against the cage.
Bradburry tries for a takedown but Kim manages to get underhooks.
Kim is looking to control Bradburry's arms but Bradburry gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kim has his back to the cage.
Kim tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bradburry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kim walks away with a smile on his face. Bradburry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tad Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jhon Bradburry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bradburry.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bradburry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kim clinches up against the cage.

Kim lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bradburry tries to roll over but Kim keeps him under control.
Kim thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kim looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kim is trying to work for a kimura but Bradburry is defending well.
Bradburry wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim is working for a kimura but Bradburry is defending it quite comfortably.
Bradburry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kim is working away from the top position though.

Kim is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bradburry tries to roll over but Kim keeps him under control.

Kim wants to work for an arm triangle but Bradburry is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kim stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bradburry to get to his feet.

Bradburry drives through and clinches with Kim against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kim throws a head kick but Bradburry moves out of range.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but Bradburry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bradburry drives through and clinches with Kim against the cage.
Bradburry tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kim just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bradburry after a bit of a struggle.

Bradburry pulls Kim into guard.
Kim missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bradburry is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kim lands a couple of digs.
Bradburry is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bradburry looks winded!

Kim gets to his feet. Bradburry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bradburry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jhon Bradburry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradburry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bradburry somewhat.
Kim seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Kim moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bradburry manages to break the clinch.
Bradburry is looking to clinch but Kim is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kim closes the distance and clinches.

Bradburry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bradburry swats away the attempt to clinch by Kim.
Tad Kim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kim moves out of range of the strikes.
Kim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bradburry but Bradburry pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bradburry darts in looking for a takedown but Kim gets double underhooks and turns Bradburry into the cage.
Bradburry dives in and grabs Kim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kim pushes down on Bradburry's head and hops out.

Kim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kim is looking for a counter combo.

Kim has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bradburry after a bit of a struggle.

Kim tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kim wants the takedown. Bradburry is fighting it off but Kim persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bradburry's guard against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bradburry throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kim is working Bradburry over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kim gets to his feet. Bradburry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bradburry pushes Kim back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Kim has clasped his hands together around Bradburry's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Kim is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bradburry has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bradburry dodges the ground and pound from Kim.

Kim tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bradburry gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bradburry manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kim throwing strikes but missing.

Kim stands and steps away. Bradburry gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bradburry throws a fast counter high kick but Kim manages to duck under it in time.

Bradburry clinches up against the cage.

Bradburry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bradburry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bradburry is pulling down on Kim's head to control his posture.

Kim stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kim throws a head kick that misses.
Bradburry wants to counter the offense by Kim and move into the clinch position.
Kim blocks the body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Bradburry misses.
Bradburry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tad Kim dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bradburry fails to pull guard.
Bradburry wants a takedown.
Kim tries for a takedown. No joy.

Come on Bradburry - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bradburry tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kim smiles and moves away.

Kim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bradburry was covering up waiting for the punch and Kim finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kim won't allow Bradburry to sweep him here.
Kim throws a big right hand that misses.
Kim works over Bradburry with some ground and pound from guard.
Kim trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bradburry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bradburry looking for a sweep. Not yet Bradburry, not yet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bradburry trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bradburry wants to sweep but no luck.

Kim is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bradburry shoots for a takedown but Kim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bradburry keeps the fight on the outside.

Kim gets a takedown into half guard.

Kim is working for a kimura but Bradburry is defending it quite comfortably.
Kim working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tad Kim overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bradburry wants to improve his position but Kim is controlling well.

Kim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bradburry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kim.

Kim is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bradburry has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kim stops Bradburry from getting back to his feet.

Jhon Bradburry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tad Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Tad Kim showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
