The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crespo shoots for a takedown but Montgomery saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Montgomery throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Crespo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Crespo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Montgomery just misses with a punch to the body.
Crespo wants to counter with a clinch but Montgomery pushes him away.

Crespo tries to close the distance and clinch but Montgomery swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Montgomery walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Crespo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Montgomery swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Crespo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
