Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maki Pulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulu has chosen Alive as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pulu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pulu shoots for a double leg takedown but Muller sprawls well. He's pushed Pulu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looked like Muller was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Muller thuds his right hand into Pulu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The cut above Maki Pulu's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Muller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pulu, pushing him back against the ropes.

Muller on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pulu. Pulu obviously looking to wear him down.
Muller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A little jabbing left from Pulu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Pulu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Pulu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Muller.
Pulu throws a low kick but it's checked well by Muller.
Muller leaves Pulu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pulu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Muller has time to react.

Maki Pulu's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Muller digs a right hand underneath Pulu's ribcage. Pulu let out a lung full of air as it connected.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Maki Pulu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
