Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Loredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vashon Daleske (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vashon Daleske has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Alvin Loredo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vashon Daleske!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daleske shoots in and gets a takedown into Loredo's guard.
Daleske sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Daleske trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Daleske throwing strikes from guard but Loredo blocks nicely.
Loredo looking for a sweep. Not yet Loredo, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loredo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Daleske controls the pace.
Daleske postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Loredo is breathing heavily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Daleske shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Loredo as he jumps to the side.
Daleske fails with the takedown.
Loredo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Daleske's calf.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Daleske lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Loredo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Loredo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Loredo lands a jab-cross combination.
Loredo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Daleske tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Loredo swivels and escapes.
Alvin Loredo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vashon Daleske.
Loredo takes a swing at Daleske's ribcage but misses.
Daleske moves out of range of the leg kick from Loredo.
Alvin Loredo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No joy there for Loredo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Daleske drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Loredo defends it well.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Loredo!

Daleske changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Loredo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Daleske is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loredo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Loredo is trying to escape the position but Daleske is controlling the position.
Daleske wants to lay and pray for a moment but Loredo keeps working.
Loredo wants to control but Daleske postures up.

Daleske controls the position.
Daleske's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Daleske trying to control the position but Loredo is working away.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Daleske throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Loredo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Loredo misses the shot to the body.

Daleske is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Loredo's half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Loredo manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Daleske darts in and clinches Loredo up against the cage.

Daleske drags the fight down to the ground.
Daleske pulls Loredo in to control the position.
Daleske tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Loredo manages to break the clinch.
Daleske tries to clinch but Loredo moves out of range.
As Daleske looks to move away, Loredo throws a big counter combo but Daleske just gets out of the way.
Loredo throws an overhand right that lands on Daleske's shoulder, as Daleske tries to avoid the shot.
Loredo sets himself, and Daleske steps forward looking for the clinch! Loredo avoids it this time.
Loredo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Daleske pushes Loredo up against the cage in a clinch.
Loredo wants to break the clinch but can't.
Loredo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Daleske blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Loredo.

Daleske manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Loredo throws an overhand right that lands on Daleske's shoulder, as Daleske tries to avoid the shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Daleske looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Daleske instigates a clinch.
Loredo misses with a hook to the ribs.
Loredo misses with a body punch.
Daleske blocking some punches.
Daleske has Loredo pressed against the cage, preventing Loredo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Daleske tries to pull guard but Loredo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Loredo swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Daleske is looking to sweep but instead, Loredo has passed into half guard.
Daleske is trying to maintain the position but Loredo is very close to passing his half guard.
Daleske holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Daleske wants to get back to full guard.
Daleske is staying active underneath Loredo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Daleske is trying to drag Loredo to the mat but Loredo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Loredo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Loredo misses with a short punch on the inside.

Daleske drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daleske wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Daleske is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Daleske might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Loredo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's time! Loredo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Daleske takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
