The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Shaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bates bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shaw's head backwards.
Bates moves out of range as Shaw strikes.
Bates tries to counter with a takedown but Shaw is quick to defend against it.
Bates closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Shaw! Bates dives in looking to finish! Shaw is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
