Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grin Ribber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribber has chosen Ay Ay Ay as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribber tried to score with a low kick but Aldo checks it.
Aldo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ribber scores with a jab. Aldo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Ribber smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Ribber does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Aldo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ribber throws out the jab.

Ribber scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Crunch! Ribber slams his shin into Aldo's torso.

Ribber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aldo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ribber has picked Aldo up and slammed him! Aldo can't keep hold of the triangle and Ribber manages to pass to side control!

Aldo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ribber wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ribber wants to control but Aldo is keeping busy.

Ribber is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aldo defends well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ribber had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aldo defends it easily.

Ribber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aldo was covering up waiting for the punch and Ribber finishes the takedown easily into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Grin Ribber.

A less than humble Grin Ribber misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
