Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paris Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Marley will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paris Eaton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bob Marley!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eaton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Marley is trying to defend but Eaton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Marley is trying to get back to full guard.

Marley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Eaton pulls his head out easily.
Eaton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Marley trying to hold on to Eaton's head to control him but Eaton postures up.
Marley has hold of Eaton's hands but Eaton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Eaton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eaton is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Marley wants to improve his position but Eaton is controlling well.

Marley tries to get to full guard but Eaton has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Marley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Eaton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Marley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fight stays on the outside here - Eaton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Marley keeps control of Eaton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Eaton prevents a takedown attempt there.
Marley is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Eaton to keep the fight standing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Marley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Eaton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marley is working away from the top position though.
Marley is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Marley stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marley is defended easily by Eaton.

Eaton feinted with a counter takedown.

Eaton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Eaton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marley has his foot on Eaton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eaton works his way back into a safe position though.
Eaton stays in close to Marley's body and controls the position.
Eaton won't allow Marley to get back to his feet.
Eaton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Eaton avoids the head kick by Marley.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marley is defended easily by Eaton.
Eaton attempts a counter takedown but Marley avoids it well and moves away.

Eaton drives through and clinches with Marley against the cage.
Marley misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Eaton.
Eaton throws a knee to the head but misses.
Eaton wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Eaton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Eaton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marley pinned against the cage. Marley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Eaton moves into range and clinches up with Marley.
Marley is trying to pull guard but Eaton has him pressed against the cage.
Eaton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marley has him pressed against the cage.
Eaton jumps guard but Marley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Eaton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marley can do to turn this around?
Eaton is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Eaton is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marley gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Paris Eaton will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Marley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Marley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Eaton.

Eaton has managed to clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Marley obliges.

Marley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Marley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Marley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Paris Eaton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Eaton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Marley can't fight it off and eventually Eaton manages to take the fight to the floor. Marley looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bob Marley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Eaton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
