Pepper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mauler, pushing him back against the cage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Pepper - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mauler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mauler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pepper is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mauler is controlling him.
