The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Grade wants to free his trapped foot but Lawson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Grade is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Grade working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lawson turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Grade off and cradles Lawson's limp body as Grade celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Royce Grade!
