Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunting Humans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe misses with a few strikes there.
Humans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Monroe swivels and escapes.
Monroe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Humans moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Monroe throws a looping overhand right but Humans ducks down to avoid it.
Humans takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Monroe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Humans at a distance.
Jon Monroe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monroe lands an overhand right.
Monroe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Humans manages to avoid it.
Humans throws a body shot but no joy.
Monroe thinks about countering with a head kick.

Monroe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Humans eats them both and turns towards Monroe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Monroe throws a right and a left that Humans avoids nicely.
Humans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Monroe swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Monroe connects with a nice looking jab.
Humans avoids the body shot from Monroe.

Monroe misses with a two punch combination.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Humans! But no joy.
Humans tries to clinch but Monroe moves out of range.

Monroe throws a sloppy head kick and Humans moves out of range easily.

It looks like Jon Monroe has been cut.
Monroe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Monroe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Humans.
Monroe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Humans slips under a jab.
Monroe misses with a right hand
and Humans counters with a crisp one two that drops Monroe! Humans thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Monroe to his feet! Monroe is in big trouble!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Monroe knocks Humans to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Humans is rocked!
Humans tries to buck Monroe off but Monroe is having none of it.
Humans is still in real trouble! Can Monroe finish him?
Monroe decides to stand back up.
Monroe steps in with a hook that catches Humans right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Monroe follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Humans looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Monroe!
A relieved looking Jon Monroe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Hunting Humans spoke after the fight, saying 'It's killing me every day!till I avenge this loss!!!!'.
